“Kaya ko pa ba?” is the phrase a lot of you say when you get tired of trying because truth be told, it’s hard to keep the desire burning when faced with a lot of rejections. When you are too tired of trying, oftentimes you look for something that will motivate you, something that you hope can boost your morale to keep going. FOCUS ON YOUR GOAL
“Focus on your goal”, are some of the words from Flight Attendant Tanchellie Lobete. And it is true, focusing on your goal will help you visualize what it is that you want. It is also one of the important things that you should be doing most especially if you are still studying. Focus and take it easy because eventually, everything will fall to its place at the right time. Yes, there will be times when you will lose track but you just have to strive hard and be back at it again. The same goes for those of you who are applying to be a Flight Attendant, one step at a time, just keep on trying even if you feel like you are not capable of trying anymore.

HAVE THE GUTS
One thing’s for sure, have enough courage. Being courageous will help you face whatever problems you may have along the way, it will help you achieve positive outcomes. Just always keep in mind that you can do it, manifest, believe, and Pray!
Just like what Flight Attendant Yna Ramos said “You have to have the guts… If you think sa sarili mo na, uy pwede ako maging cabin crew then that means it’s true, it’s true.”
DON’T COMPARE
Don’t compare yourself/your journey to others. You have to remember that each and everyone is different from each other. Others might be somewhere in life already and you think you are still at the same spot as before, and you have to acknowledge that, that is normal, your time is different from theirs, you may be at the bottom now but sooner or later you will notice you are flying already and living the dream.

There’s a reason why things are happening, you may not know what the future holds but do know that God is the one who holds the future.
THE MIXTURE OF MIND AND HEART
Learning how to balance these two is important, you have to know that the mind and heart should work together. Being a Flight Attendant you have to have the mind and the heart to think wisely and serve wholeheartedly. This will never be easy but it can help you do different things without getting worried that you’ve missed something.
As shared by Flight Attendant Amor Maximo “Every company has a structure, every company has rules and as a customer service representative, as a front liner, you will be the one to implement them. So let say this (mind) is the structure, this is the rules utak hindi nababali, eto (heart) customer service puso pag masyadong malambot hindi naman tama kasi may safety aspect. So for me to be an exceptional cabin crew is the perfect mix of the mind and the heart.”
Bear in mind that there are no shortcuts in life, you have to take the hard path for you to not just learn but also to be strong. There will be a lot of rejections but if you try to use it as your strength, focus on your goal, have enough courage, believe in yourself, and have the perfect mix of the mind and heart, everything will be worth it.
