Chances of going back to normal after this pandemic

WILL WE GO BACK TO NORMAL AFTER THIS PANDEMIC?

I honestly believe that we won’t.

And that is not a bad thing.

Life before quarantine was different. Face masks were only usually worn by medical practitioners or travelers from other countries – if you noticed them. We can literally go anywhere we want and do almost anything. And the pandemic changed that.

Obviously, physical interaction is limited. We had to go on a number of lockdowns and we had to adjust to the situation. The “new norm” as what people call it. In short, we had to adapt and I’d like to believe that given the situation, we are doing it. Very well in fact.

If and when a very strong vaccine is created, if we become resistant to the disease or for some reason, we can live without fear even with the threat of the virus is still at hand, things will not go exactly back to the way they were.

And like what I said, it is not a bad thing.

Because this is an opportunity for us to evolve. Despite the hardships that the pandemic has caused, it has taught us a lot of things. How to become more efficient, how to do things differently but with the same outcome, if not better. To use the power of social media, to create new experiences and modify old ones. To discover new possibilities and to take advantage of promising opportunities. To realize what is truly valuable to us, and to continuously appreciate it.

And we will bring all these things and more as we go on our journey called life.

As we continuously progress to move forward.
