Flight attendants come from a diverse number of college courses. That’s because you don’t have to take any specific course to be a flight attendant. In fact, airlines may ask what college course you took not because there is a certain particular one. They just want to get a clearer picture about your background. So for our poll of the week, we want to know your college course before becoming a flight attendant. If you are a student, what college course are you taking currently? If you are currently flying, what course did you take?
Is it necessary to attendant flight attendant training school?
While flight attendant schools do have their advantage, taking flight attendant courses in a flight attendant school is not a requirement by the airlines. In fact, these flight attendant schools know this. Regardless if you came from a flight attendant school or not, you will still go through the very same training that the airline provides with the others. In other words, it doesn’t matter if you come from a flight attendant school or not. You will still undergo the same training program. An advantage though of a flight attendant school is that they prepare you for the recruitment and training process of the airlines. However, going to a flight attendant school is also not a guarantee that the airline will hire you.
Flight attendants come from a diverse background
In a past article we posted, flight attendants have different backgrounds. Each course, regardless if it’s related to being a flight attendant or not, do have their own advantage. This is why airlines are not picky when it comes to the college course of flight attendant applicants. In fact in a flight, you might be in a cabin crew team consisting of a nurse, a pre-law graduate, an architecture graduate, and so on.
So now we ask you, what college course did you take or are you taking? Please do answer our poll of the week.
