Opportunities to become a flight attendant are somehow scarce nowadays, particularly in the Philippines. There are millions of people around the world who want to become flight attendants. This is why we encourage everyone to apply to as many airlines as they can. Just follow whatever is on the listed qualifications. You would rather do that than listen to unconfirmed news or gossips such as “they are not hiring”, etc. Just go for your dreams.

Do not wait for “hiring in the Philippines” and so on before you go drop your resume.

Others may say “useless sending your resume because there is still no hiring from the Philippines. Don’t believe them. You still gain something even if you do not get the flight attendant job.

  1. You can never tell if they may hire you. Even if they say that there is a 99% chance that you will not be accepted, there is still that 1% chance to hold on to.
  2. You gain knowledge and discipline when applying. You learn how to properly write CVs. If you are interviewed, you basically know what are being asked.
  3. 1% chance is still better than 0%. Its just like lotto. Many wish to win the lotto but only a few are the ones who will go to the lotto booth and bet. These people who bet, win or lose, still have that little chance of winning. Its better than not doing anything.
