Grab every opportunity to become a flight attendant

Grab every opportunity to become a flight attendant

We have been posting cabin crew job openings from airlines like Qatar Airways and Emirates. Indeed, the aviation industry is slowly picking up in other countries and we do want you to grab every opportunity that comes your way to become a flight attendant.

No matter what airline that is and where they are located, give every opportunity a shot. Okay, some would say “but there is no hiring in the Philippines and you need to travel to that country to apply.” Well, they may be correct. However, have you ever tried submitting your resume? There is no cost there since this is done online.

Do not preempt anything, just grab every opportunity

Some of us may preempt things without giving things a try. This is where we usually fail. This is where dreams end. It’s just like saying “I will never become a flight attendant” without even trying to apply.

Airline cabin crew opportunities may come from different countries. We have also posted hirings in Europe, Australia, the USA, and the Middle East. Yes, they may not be in the Philippines however, they are still an opportunity. Why not submit your resume regardless of which airline. If the airline does not accept you because they only allow their citizens, then at least you tried and nothing is lost on your end.

Grab every opportunity to become a flight attendant

If the airline suddenly interviews you but says that you are not fit, then at least you gained experience and some valuable lessons to be better next time. Nothing lost, a lot gained.

“Oh, I’m too short to apply.” Have you ever measured your arms’ reach? “I don’t have enough money to fly to Dubai.” What if all of a sudden, some good samaritan decides to sponsor your trip. See? Amidst the “impossibilities” are also a lot of “possibilities”. There is no time wasted here, for as long as you gain knowledge and experience.

Just go and apply at every airline you see

So next time you see a flight attendant job opening, just go apply. Sending your resume online is free. Be courageous to bust out of our bubble. Nothing lost, a lot gained. Just maybe, that one time you try to apply may actually be the golden ticket to your wings!

Applying to the airlines itself is a good way to practice and gain more knowledge. Perhaps when airlines in the Philippines reopens and they start hiring again, your experience may prove valuable.

Just some tips:

  • When you go submit your resume, act as though every airline is the only opportunity available. Give your all and very best. Even if you are sure that a particular airline will not accept you, then still give it a shot to gain experience. Besides, how sure are we that you won’t really get accepted.
  • Be ready for everything. Even if there is a 99% chance that you will not be interviewed, there is still that 1% that you will.
  • Keep practicing as early as today. Condition yourself that you will become a flight attendant soon. Who knows, this may definitely be the one for you.
