We are definitely no beauty pageant expert here but this person is definitely our bet. This is why that this flight attendant from Siniloan, Laguna deserves to be Miss Earth 2021. This is no less than Yllana “Yana” Aduana whose advocacy is zero waste, sustainable living. However, that’s not only the point. There is just simply more in this young lady that to us, she deserves the Miss Philippines Earth 2021 crown.
Of course we are all entitled to our own bets and we do totally respect that. Allow us to express why we believe our bet deserves to be crowned. Also, we are not only writing this because she is a flight attendant. We do feel that there is a lot in this flight attendant that will make her a great representative to the Miss Earth pageant that will make our country proud.
We just love the way she looks, even with light or without make-up on
For some reason, Yana’s beauty strikes us a lot. We have seen her with light make-up on and honestly, she reminds us of Ellen Adarna. Those chinky eyes and that bright smile of hers just goes well with all her other facial features. She has this smile that can really brighten up your day. Well aside from the fact the Yana is a flight attendant where her smile is part of her uniform, it is all natural.
Yana lives by her advocacy
It is easy to say “my advocacy is zero waste” but do we live by it? Well for Yana, there is no doubt. Even before becoming a Miss Philippines Earth candidate, she continues to operate a skin care business which she started in 2018. This was even way before she became a PAL Express flight attendant. In one of our interviews with Yana, she said, “ALL NATURAL products are so much better than chemical products in the market not only for us but also for the environment and the animals. I personally formulate and mix the products myself with only 100% all natural ingredients! We also ship out completely PLASTIC-FREE and we make sure to schedule a pick up once a week only in bulk so we can help reduce the carbon emission.“
Beauty and brains
Well first of all to be a flight attendant, you cannot be a “bubble head.” You need a lot of brains and high emotional intelligence combined in order to be a successful flight attendant. If you think that being a flight attendant is only about “chicken or beef”, you are all wrong. What you go through to be a flight attendant is just like a whole college term cramped in just over 70 days. We have more about that here. Yana was able to earn her wings with flying colors after going through all the grueling process to become a cabin crew.
At the same time, Yana is a pre-med student who is also a dean’s lister. She is also a board passer – the MTLE or the MedTech Board Exam. So yes, Yana is also a licensed Medical Technician. This is why she was able to use her knowledge in such field to run a skin care business.
Dedicated and committed on her Miss Philippines Earth 2021 journey
Yana did not just join Miss Philippines Earth 2021 for no reason. “I realized that there’s something more that I can actually do. Then when I started thinking of joining a pageant, I just truly thought to myself that the first one I wanna be joining in is something that is very close to my heart and a pageant that completely represents me and my vision,” shared Yana when we asked her why she joined Miss Philippines Earth 2021.
Yana is dedicated to her role as Siniloan’s representative to the Miss Philippines Earth 2021. We believe that if Yana wins, she will be able to network herself, the pageant and her message particularly her advocacy. She is dedicated to become the representative of our country in the global stage with the power to spread good vibes. Miss Siniloan does have the power to touch lives and to leave smiles in every soul she encounters.

So yeah, these are the reasons why we are adamant on our flight attendant bet for the Miss Philippines Earth 2021, and that’s no less than Yllana “Yana” Aduana!
